About Volume Freight

Established in 1998, we are a family owned and operated equal opportunity motor carrier company. Doug and Sheila Estes started the company running 3 trucks with vans to all 48 contiguous states out of their home in Caledonia, Mississippi. Since then, they have grown the business to what it is today, operating half of their fleet locally and the other half over-the-road.

The family owned company has grown over the years by providing quality service to all of their customers and being diversified in the market. While our company's backbone is van freight to all contiguous 48 states, we also provide a variety of other services. Those services include local van freight, steel dumps, aluminum dumps, flat beds, step decks, conestogas, coil hauling, hot shot services, yard dog, and other specialty freight services upon request. We pride ourselves on having the best drivers in the business. Every driver makes a difference and is more than just a name.

Here everyone is family, so we understand that everyone at each position impacts each other and the bottom line. This is one reason the quality of service is so high and why we have drivers who have been with us for 15 years and longer. We put our customers first and try to service them to the best of our ability. We have learned to adapt to our customers changing needs and over the years pride ourselves on having evolved with them. From dispatch, to maintenance, and office personnel, Volume Freight is staffed with leading industry professionals, all having many years experience in the transportation industry.
